To fulfill GE Area B2 – Life Sciences, we recommend

Biological Diversity and Ecology (BIOL 131)

You can sign up and take Upper Division GE courses at any time. 

But, to actually receive Upper Division credit, you must meet two criteria: 

1) junior or senior standing (you have taken at least 60 units at the time you take the GE course, including the units for that semester); and

2) you have completed the lower-division GE requirement for that area.
